New Design Windows Ltd were a new start-up company, when they contacted us in April 2020. They were looking to invest in a bespoke quote management system to enable them to run the business. The company are new build specialists producing windows and doors for the major house builder/developer. They could not find an off the shelf software that enabled them to track contracts from quotation to completion, so they approached Smashed Crab Software.
Following our proposal, we began the project a few weeks later.
Our solution offers an easy to use quote management system for different sizes and styles of windows across various builders and their sites - all accessible and searchable easily. Once the tender pack is received from the house builder (which contains all the windows sizing information), the house types are entered into the system by NDW to produce accurate quotes quickly and sent onto the developer easily as a PDF.
Following the acceptance of a quote, the order is tracked to completion, beginning with a specification and BOM (bill of materials) for the stock control/despatch. The workflow of the orders are recorded and can be viewed at any stage, including when products need to be called off , delivered and installed.
Delivery and remedial schedules are also available within the software, as are sales reports. Invoices for each site be exported via PDF and sent directly to the Builders accounts department, ensuring prompt payment
